big problem here. AC DC converters produce loud (very much so) noise with use in guitar effects unless the pedal or converter has a filtration system. i seriously doubt the bad monkey has one. Converters intended for use with simple audio devices like guitar effects have filters built in.
translation: yes, you will get way more sounds out of your bad monkey.
