thanks for the advice and the comments, will point my dad towards Warmoth if fender continue to drag their heels.
To answer your question I'm in the UK, West Yorks.
The zero fret was my da's idea, he's got a Burns Hank Marvin with one I think.
I had considered a Fender decal, but have decided that as my dad has spent nearly a year on the thing off and on that he should have his name on it, so he's working on a custom logo. Thanks for the positive comments though, I''ll make sure he gets a link to this forum post!
Also, he is prepared to take orders! Although the problems he has had getting parts for my jazzy has put him off making another! He's currently working on a Fender Flame style guitar in a nice Burns-y black and green sunburst.
