Hi Guys
The home made JM is finally finished. Thanks to everyone who suggested places to get a selector switch from, I finally got one from Guitarpartsresource.com and my Dad delivered the finished article last week. I'm VERY pleased with it, as you can see in the pics below! I've only played a J Mascis JM briefly in a shop before, so can't really give you an honest appraisal of its authenticity, but it certainly looks, feels and sounds fantastic. Definitely the best guitar I've ever owned anyway. 
He's also just finished his next guitar which is a Fender Flame, he intends to keep this one to use as a 'show guitar'. Not my cup of tea but the finish looks lovely.
With regards to anyone who seriously wants to order a guitar, he is a one man show, and is getting requests from quite a few people, and also has a camp site to run and my two little brothers to look after so his output is relatively limited, but if you really want to discuss figures and timescales email me and I will pass your details on to my Dad.
