Hello all, I have been lurking here for a little while and really dig the forums. I want to start experimenting with customizing guitars and at a pawn shop recently I saw a Duo SOnic for 150$. it was black and white and i think its a reissue from the 90s. so my question to you guys is this a good deal? I saw 1 reissue on ebay for 300$, so should i hop on this? Ive also been reading a bit about DIY painting and i dislike the black on it (fiesta red) and it would help if you guys could share some experiences. Im reluctant about disassembling a guitar because my uncle always tells me i should never mess with the trusss rod or the neck, and i found out recently that it is perfectly safe to take all of the strings off of your electric guitar as long as you gradually release them and not cut them (regardless of what he always said)
