I just got a Jaguar HH.

It came without a case & I have never purchased a case before.

Is there anything special I should look for ?

One online store said all Fender cases are the same.

you should check ebay about the cases.

not all fender cases are the same. the jag/jazz cases are made only for the jag/jazz because of the offset body design.

if a store you know deals fender products, ask them to order a jag case in for you.

i know the AV strat and tele cases are different to the AV jag and jazz ones, by way of the inner compartment. but i was of the mind that jaguars and jazzmasters would fit in strat/tele cases, for some reason. if someone could measure a strat from here to here, that'd be a start:

although, from sizing them up in photoshop (they are the same scale), the jaguar does appear to be wider...

When I think of strat/tele case I think of the plastic molded ones you get with American Standard models. A Jaguar will not fit in that. I prefer the "fit all" type cases for wiered #### like Jags and JagStangs. A strat kinda moves around in them though. Sorry I don't have a tape measure to see how wide my strat is. Uh. Yeah.

Jaguars don't fit in standard Strat cases, I know as I stupidly bought one!

you need a special jaguar/jazzmaster case...I bought one of the fit all aswell and it didn't fit...

I have my hiscox case, hell to carry around with my weak little girly arms.

But it protects it from the random idiots running directly into you.

Yeah... they need specialized cases, especially for the jaguar. I went through two incorrect cases before I found out that I needed a specialty one.
