Hmm...that's a good point about the scale, hadn't really considered that. The neck is a warmoth strat vintage style neck, and it is 25 1/2" scale.. The body will be warmoth too, maybe I can get it customized...I'd figured all that warmoth crap would be completely interchangeable.
As far as the humbuckers, after I figured out the wiring I was going to look for recommendations. Not looking for high gain, just hum canceling with a little higher output.
I'm really just building another guitar because I want something with humbuckers and am not a big fan of LPs. I chose the mustang body because I liked the styling and also the idea that I could use the switch for coil tap rather than the push-pull knob, I hate those. If the scale messes everything up ill just make it work on a tele or some other warmoth body. I use them because the ability to customize is great.
