mustang - few question

Hello.I will buy F.Mustang soon.

So i have a few question.

Does these Mustang made in Japan or Mexico?

What U think abut these bridge. shuld I change it?

Have anyone some picture of these bridge? If you have ,please put it heare.

And the last question.

Im A tall guy so i think taht mustang can be a litle bit small for me.

Now i Have a fender stratocaster and it's perfect.

So maybe someone have a picture of strat and mustang in one picture.

I'll be very grateful.

try the bridge yourself then think if its good or bad

im tall its not much smaller than a strat, mustangs my number 1

I'm 6'1" and absolutely <3 my mustang! I have no playability issues whatsoever. Leave the bridge alone and let a proper guitar tech set it up for you. Have fun with it!

Its not that much smaller in overall size. But as you can see the fretboard on the Mustang is much more compact.

Well, the mustang is 24" scale, the Ovation, 25.5" (actually less), the Les Paul is 25 3/4" and the Strat is 25.5" Some whiny musicians carry on about the different feel of the different scales, I can play on whatever. I guess it's all up to the individual... *shrug*

I notice the difference between them when I switch off, but thats what makes each one unique to me. Its not just sound.

if it is a case with open compartment and no internal shapes or contours it should fit fine, i have two musicians gear cases that fit both my strat and mustang well

height doesnt factor in much unless youre huge and play sitting down. really the only thing is hand size, but scale affects tension more noticably than fret spacing when youre playing

yeah what travis said, the if you have chubby fingers i imagine it would be hell trying to play a mustang

As far as the case is concerned, if you look real close at the picture earlier in this thread, the Mustang is actually longer than the strat (or Tele or LP) and will require you to either buy the Mustang case from Fender or actually try the guitar in the case that you want. Another option is E-bay where they offer older Mustang cases that will fit not only the original 64 but all of the re-issues that are out there.

Mustangs are shorter than Strats... I have a Strat hardcase for my Mustang and it's too big...

Uh....lostventure is right. The Mustang is about 5/8" of an inch longer than a Strat. (I just measured.)

I must confess, I never knew that...or rather, it never occurred to me. When I read that post, I immediately got up, walked over to the wall, where I have a strat and mustang and measured. I couldn't believe it. LOL. Oh, well....learn something new everyday, I spose! 😆

Thats odd, I never thought of that, never occurred to me either ...... I just had a look at the cases behind me, the new type mustang case is slightly longer than the strat/tele case.To add to that the vintage mustang case is slightly shorter but the guitar is a whole 1 inch longer than a telecaster, I'm a bit frazzled now 😕

Well there definately is a fair sized gap between the top of my Mustang and the top of the case. In fact, the Mustang slides about a bit in the case (not ideal, but there isn't a huge amount of slide so it's ok). I just measured, there's an inch of room at the top of the case...
