That "coffee cup lookin thing" is an emblem from a 65 Dodge Dart. dodgedartdave wanted a jag-stang with a bigsby, and after the intial build, he complained about the "open space" on the bottom there, so we dug around in some of his Dart parts bins and found it. We routed it out a 1/4" deep and that thing just popped right in there. It was meant to be a funky lookin' guitar and I think we pulled it off. It also sports the very first Fender neck I made. It's gonna need a little work. 😆
As for the Bronco pg, dave is a *HUGE* fan of Broncos, and on custom builds, like this one, he always tried to incorporate the Bronco style is some way. I'll tell him you liked it....he'll apprieciate that!
