Fender Duo Sonic Classic Vibe

As a Christmas gift to myself, I picked up a Squier Classic Vibe Duo Sonic. The previous owner did quite a job at relicing it. He refinished it blue, added a stripe from a Mustang, scratched up the pickguard, and burnt the headstock with a cigarette.

I wanna swap out the neck, but I'm unsure what would be appropriate (Mustang, vintage duo-sonic, warmoth blank?). Here are the specs.

Fingerboard Maple, 9.5" Radius (241mm)

21 Frets

Any help would be much appreciated

any 24" fender neck will fit, as welll as the warmoth ones

it might be possible to fit a 25.5 scale neck on there too if it has those long screws

Yeah, any 24" will fit. I like it, it's certainly a better colour than the beige that it comes in stock. 😉

24' NECK WILL NOT FIT! its a conversion neck. only 25.5" neck

Why on earth would it be a conversion neck?

not the same as a jagmaster, the duo-sonic is 24"

says the jagmaster has 24" scale, which they do, but their conversion. someone with a jagmaster and a true 24" swap necks and try an intonate so we can see if it works

meh... the jagmaster necks seem to have the 21st fret pretty close to the edge of the fretboard, whereas this one seems to have it further away.... also, which the huge saddle throw of the duo, it might take either. only one (cool) way to find out

Who said anything about it being the same as the Jagmaster? Can a 24" scale guitar not just be a 24" guitar anymore? 😲😉

i know its 24" but i dont think its true 24". do you by chance have another 24" guitar? or a 25.5" guitar colonel?

nobodies questioning whether or not its 24", but if the jagmasters are conversion necks, why not the duo? seems like a classic cost-cutting move by squier, manufacture all of the same neck backs, and just change the fretboards... are duos one piece or two piece necks?

squier and fender truly do not give a #### about there spec lists... it says that jagmaster necks have 22 frets, and under 'special features' doesnt mention the most unique aspect of the guitar, the conversion neck...

my hh special is listed as having a 7.25, when it has 9.5...

Yeah if I remember correctly they are one piece.
