The Mosrite came from a customer of Semie Moseley's who wanted a guitar "Like a Strat," but "Not a Strat." So he traced a Strat upside down, and offset it a bit. Hence the Mosrite "Venture's Model" guitar. So, since they're both (conceptually) upside down guitars, they're, by default, gonna have some things in common. Extended treble horn, offset shape, extended bass bout... Plus, they're both fukking awesome. 😆
