Help - Hot noiseless strat pick ups upgrade ???????

I want to beef up the sound of a USA Fender bullet, by using the fender hot noiseless pick ups.

Does anyone know,if will I lose that nice out of phase sound in positions 2 & 4 on the 5 way switching, using these pickups ?

I think that sound is created by the middle pick up being reverse wound in standard strat wiring, & cancels the hum.

It will definately sound different in those positions but i think that you will get the same "sort" of sounds

I've found in most cases when you upgrade a Strat its better to go with a full set. Otherwise the balance is all over the place. Try it first though 😉

fender problably wouldnt make it reverse wound/polarity with a noiseless strat... arent american strats stocked w/noiselesses?

I know that the middle pup is not reverse wound because these type are already noiseless, so no need to cut any hum. I just wanted to make sure that I could still get that out of phase sound in positions 2 & 4 with the noiseless type, I am not electrically minded & don't know much about that side of things.

Maybe best for me to shop test a strat with them in ?
