THE BEST ORANGE AMP MADE!!
Depends on what u can afford and what you want the best orange head in production right now in my opinion is the 40th Anniversey OR50 head (1959 usd for the head)
After that is the Retro 50 Custom shop with all point to point wiring and is used by Year Long Disaster the retro 50 is a rock n roll machine! all the classic distortion tones u dream about! (2699 usd)
Then the Rockerverb 50 (2300 USD for the combo)
able to handle everything from blues to heavy metal crunch and also available in an awesome combo with 2 celestion vintage 30s, a real high quality orange thats a real workhorse and very versatile (i own the combo and its brilliant)
If your looking for combos I'd go for the Rockerverb 50 combo the Rocker 30 is also good if u need a little more compact and a little more of a straightfoward "rock" amp that might not be as versatile but still has tone out the wazoo!
The ad30 heads and combos are the workhorse straightfoward distortion only really Oranges, if u don't really play on cleans and need a nice distortion the AD30 does that very well.
Overall Orange is a great brand they are solid built and will last for awhile they can get u any tone if u tweak them enough and have a good guitar all the better, I would avoid the Crush series at all costs they are cheap Asian made solid states sold for looks instead of sound, for the market of budget players that can't afford the more expensive tube amps while its not bad to be on a budget its great to save up and buy a real tube its worth it in the long run. Get an orange and I guarantee you will be happy with it :]
Most tube orange amps are 1400---6000 usd (the 6000 being one of the 40 handwired handmade custom shop amps they have girls names, and there are 1-2 per country that has an Orange dealer they are the highest of high end and a real collectors item)
