did you know they already advertise BUY BRITISH on e.g. ebay over here? they had a huge banner on the german ebay homepage the other day.

well but it's not that easy buying in the UK ... i just got an email from dv247:

... so i went back to absolutemusic.co.uk, saw that they had one more TT left in stock, contacted them and placed an order and checked-out within minutes. very much recommended, so far. i talked them into reducing the shipping by 50% so it pretty much exactly matches DV247

another (negative!) note on digital village, whilst the TT should be on his somewhere in the channel tunnel: dv had actually deduced the bill for the TT in early february, i seem to have overlooked that ... meaning they took the cash without even being able to deliver the amp about a month later. that s pretty weird, IMHO. i lose some 10 euros in exchange rate as the pound has fallen since, but that s not what bugs me, it feels strange to be used as a quasi bank by them, lending them a sum and getting a little less back ....

heya, thanx for the kind replies!

only a short post, as i'm pretty busy with job things ... i'm still toying around with the 'tiny' but like it a lot so far, and the 'britishness' of the amp and the "americanness" of the cab with the weber seem to benefit each other quite well -- tried it open back today, and will be tempted to get a second 16? cab at some time to see what it will be like to mismatch-mix the alnico with a ceramic speaker. it's nice to have two 16? outputs. (which are confusingly labelled 8? ...)

still haven't taken the bronco to the office to see how that might sound ...

did i mention it's loud?
