now ive said that though i think i do need to improve my lead technique a lot... any lead players anyone recommends i would be very grateful for... im always up for expanding my musical horizons
I dunno the Allman Bros have never really meshed with my musical tastes at all.

These are my personal favorite lead guitar players but this list probably doesn't help u much since all of em are pretty much legends and u prolly already know about all of em. There's a band I listen to called "Maylene and the Sons of Disaster" that has some pretty cool southern rock style lead stuff in their songs. Sorry I can't really help out more than that.
