the screws turn but dont seem to be remove from that side, any suggestions? thanks~ 😕
Suggestion: Remove the strings and lift the pickguard. Insert a small flathead screwdriver inbetween the slider switch and the underside of the pickguard and give the screwdriver a slight turn, as to attempt to separate the switch from the guard, while you do this, use a #1 phillips screwdriver to remove the screws. The screw holes in the switches are very weak and are slightly stripped, and this is why you are having a hard time removing the screws. Once the switches are off the pickguard, use a large set of pliers to re-flatten the the tabs where the switch's screws go. This will help give the screws something to "bite" into when you go to re-install the switches.
