Back again after domestic duties - anyone want a free family ?
First off, apologies if it all sounded wrong, its not my intention to cause any friction or upset, in retrospect maybe I should not have posted that way. I was just a bit upset, cos everything was going so well & the guitar looks & feels great, also I did say I would get the job done this week & post it.
The measurements from the inside of the nut to the top of the 12th fret is 12 inches, to the middle of the bridge its 11 & 13/16 ths to be precise, measured at the centre of the neck. I did have to shim the neck almost 1/16th to get a lower action, would that make a difference ? as it moves the neck away from the body by roughly the same amount. The bass strings are ok, but the G saddle is back as far as it can go & not on pitch.
