which reminds me. my venus has been tuned to ccebgd for the last two days. it's one of my favourite tunings from a few years ago (i copied it from SY - cross the breeze, sprawl, dissappearer). i've been strumming my venus for about the last 2 hours (although to be honest the last 30 mins has been harmonics only so not really strumming) and everything i play sounds great.

I have the 'top twenty' on the same tunings as they used on "Silver Rocket" (my fave), can't reel off what they are now...and to be honest they are hit and miss for me. Going from sheer brilliance to chaff.

hurb, man, soic yuoth is rgeat, if you don;t like the early stuff, relly noizy, and you don;t like the melody noize of daydream then you should check out murray street. its very relaxed and jazzy. thurstons guitar of choice is a jazz actually. and kims voice is harsh but for alot of songs it works to her advantage. like i love you golden blue on sonic nurse and bull in the heather on experimental trash jet set and no star.

im a full on fan. but thats just me.
