Trav's right. 51's have the square heel of a tele. Not sure about the Duo's, but I would think it would be closer to strat dimensions...

Thanks...I wasn't sure if they changed the tele neck & the strat body for the 51...thanks for the info tho...that black duo looks just like mine 😀

Nah, JK... I'm just good at finding stuff cheap. Part of the reason I can do what I do is that I constantly buy and sell cheap guitars (buy for 25, sell for 60). You make a lot of profit in about a month. I started this about 3 months ago with 45 dollars... Figuring that I've depleted all but that amount or so every month on a goody, I now have about 200. That's a big deal when you're 15 and don't have a job.

i do the buying, not the selling so much 😆 actually, im gonna put my silvertone on craigslist and see what people offer me... no intention of selling, just wanna see what its worth...

Wow, has today been confusing (not as confusing as the Cyclone debacle mind you)... I sent the guy the money, but it didn't work, so he put it on eBay... Several messages and checks-of-PayPal later I learned that I was missing a "t" from the account name... So I re-sent the money, and he pulled the auction... 😲

I hope you didn't pay $300 used. A casual search on ebay shows brand new Squier Duo's going for $279.
