If you're looking at the Boss pedals you may want to think of the DD5. It has the ability to have an external tap w/ an FS5 which you can buy seperatly.
What kind of delay are you wanting? U2 or Rockabily? The Boss DD5 is more in line w/ U2ish style. For Rockabily try the Rocktron Short-timer it has pretty good analog-ish sound.
Also if you were wanting the Line6 DL4 but can't swing the cash look into the Rocktron Digital Delay, I forget the exact name & I haven't played it but the reviews say it holds up against DL4 & its cheaper.
