MIM Duo-Sonic wiring question...

Does anyone know if this schematic will work for wiring a 90's MIM Duo-Sonic for a SD Hotrails in the bridge and a SD 1/4 pound Jag in the neck with a coils split on the Hotrails?

what are you using for the split? pushpull? and its standard wiring, with the quarter pounder hot replacing the old pickups' hot, same with ground. for the ground wire, youll problably have to connect the pickup & shield ground together, for both pups. for the split, just use one of SD's humbucker split diagrams for the switch

Yeah I'm gonna put a 500k push/pull in place of the current volume pot. Pretty much the exact setup as in the diagram, but I wanted to make sure there wasn't anything funky or unforeseen for me to look out for.

nah, wire the humbucker together like you normally would, and then use the pushpull to ground the middle wire, where you solder to wires together. bare is always ground. and make sure that the pickups are both facing the same direction (leads coming out of the same place)

This is precisely why I asked, lol. The current stock pickups are actually facing opposite directions as seen here (http://www.seymourduncan.com/support/wi ... ematic=duo).

by the way, be careful to get hold of a pushpull that fits the thin duo body -- i found that quite a lot of the common ones are too long. strats etc are just a couple millimeters thicker and won't have that problem.

I guess I may as well install a phase reversal switch while I'm in there...

Anyone know where I can find instructions for that? I can't seem to find an schematics for a split coil humbucker and single coil setup with a phase switcher.

Edit: looking at it I guess I can just put in a 2 push pull pots. One to sen the bucker out of phase and one to coil split it. Seems easy enough.

to add the phase switch just do this (obviously the switch will be attatched to the pot)

and then the hot wire goes where it normally does
