Low output from bridge pickup?

I'm new here and this is my first post. I searched for anyone with wiring problems, but no luck. I can't figure out why the original 74 pickups are not working right. I replaced a switch for the bridge, but it very low. I modified the wiring ground to the bridge, replaced wires. Still no luck. I used an meter and both pickups put out the same. Stumped? 😕

Magnets weaken over time. 32 years will decrease a pickup's output significantly.

But they metered the same. I'm guessing the other pup is fine. Check the swtch wiring, maybe you have a tiny weak solder joint that goes to ground?

I think the stupid cooper metal plating on the bottom is bent up touching the switches. It was cutting out dead, and sometimes working after removing the pickguard. Crazy Glued the thing down. Bridge pickup is still week.
