Luthiers in the 'hood

i thought we might start a thread with our next-door (or simply favorite) luthiers so maybe we can collect some cool or at least unusual designs and techniques in here.

I never did like metal, or mirror, pickguards and such on guitars...

I built a bass at of a neck I bought + plywood. It worked, but sucked, so I sold all the parts except the 1977 p-bass pickups I bought for it and the body, which is going on craigslist / evilbay.

I love the signs! Cool effect.

My fav luthier would have to be Nash. He makes "Relic" style fenders out of licenced fender parts. In my opinion they are better sounding/playing/looking then the best fender I've ever seen/played.

Even though I'm not a huge relic fan these seem more like a real vintage guitar for less then a "real" one would cost.

guy near me takes american fenders and turns them into relics, he managed to convince me one was from the 50's 😆 also does custom builds for like 3-4 grand
