Well, i went to a buddys house to jam a little, then we went to the local music shop. I was going to look at cabs and maybe a humbucker to put in the neck of my Tele.. Then saw they had a SmallStone, so i had to snatch it up. I'd say its pretty cool, very simple. I dig it. Just thought I'd share that, incase anyone else was concidering one. Anyone else have one?

I have the Russian one (black), is there a difference from the NYC version?

I have the Russian one too. It's pretty awesome actually, but unfortunately doesn't find as much use as it should...

I have NYC version. Sounds good but I've had to replace the footswitch on it multiple times, the last time it broke I just said ####it and put it back in the box. It sits in my closet and I take it out once in a while to record. If I hit the footswitch about 10 times in a row it eventually comes one.

Ive got the nyc version and ive never had any issues with it i use it quite frequently and its a pretty awesome pedal to have in your arsenal

Here in Orkney the other one frequently use is erse 😛 It only really works with the dialect though 😉

It's called ENGLISH.

Small stones are cool, quite 'laid back' compared to the in-your-face sound of a phase 90. I got the BYOC phaser (a vintage phase 90 clone) which includes a depth knob: i can get a sound pretty much inbetween the two and couldn't be happier. Good buy, the russian ones are dying out now as I understand it. Phasers to full power captain!
