i purchased a '66 mustang body and recently bought a '66 bridge to install as part of a project i am working on. i got a .050" allen and everything to adjust the bridge, but i am having trouble lining the screws up and i'm not exactly sure how the bridge should fit in the thimbles. How should the bridge be properly positioned and what am i doing wrong? should there be holes in the bottom of the thimbles where the screws connect, or does that bridge just float and is it held down by the strings? i am confused here and thank everyone in advance for their help! on a bright note i am now just a set of pickups away from having my project complete.. pictures when everything is done.
