i played one at guitar center and while i am not an expert on the pumpkins sound it definately had that Rocket-esque tone to it. the top boost is a pretty interesting feature too, of course its always noisy in GC but from the short time i spent it seems like a great pedal that can do much more than metal (silly marketing)
