Getting a replacement whammy bar?

The Jagstang I recently purchased came without the whammy bar but has the set screw intact. I have seen bars on ebay but none are specifically for Jagstangs. Can I use a Mustang whammy bar on my Jagstang or is there one specific for the Jagstangs? This is my first post. I really like this setup y'all have here. Very nice and informative.

since the mustang and jag-stang have the same tremolo system the mustang arm will fit, ive heard of jazz/jag trem arms fitting to but those seem ridiculously too long.

I tried a Strat trem arm for a while but it wasn't much better than the stock one to be honest... So I now use neither 😉

But to answer the question, yes a Mustang trem arm will fit.

Sorry to revive this thread, but I wanted to know about the screw used to hold in the whammy bar. My Jagstang came without the bar, and I just got a replacement one, but have no screw to hold it in. Can anyone give me some advice on where to find one, or maybe the dimensions and a picture so I can track down something similar at the hardware store? Thanks in advance.

Then, you need an extra-long whammy bar (BWAHAHAHA) plus one to stick under the frets!

actually, now that i think of it, i still have my old jag-stangs trembar hah.. only proof that i ever had it really besides a tag or something i may have tucked away.. i always hoped i could reunite it with another js but its starting to look like it may never happen. ☹
