Okay, I brought this up in the Jaguar picture thread, but this thing is just too nutty NOT to share....
I was in Circuit City during their closeout sales, and while meandering around looking for discount computer games, cheap audio cables, and a huge SATA hard disk for my computer at steal prices, I came across this box on the bottom of the shelf near the gaming accessories, with the very text I relayed at the top...plus all these crazy claims on the box....
"Play game Controllers, real electric guitars, and sing along using the REAL GUITAR AMP that was especially designed for use with Playstation, Xbox, Xbox 360, and more!"
Well, I don't see a controller port on this thing anywhere.....so there goes the controller port idea. Real electric guitars do work, though basses also sound great through this thing (My Mustang bass especially), Singing along works too, though I have no idea why anyone would play Rock Band so loud they would need a microphone. As for "designed for use with"...hmm, let's just say it's a regular ol' Guitar/Bass amp, or I guess you could consider it "general purpose" given that it only has 2 channels (clean and clean with non-adjustable delay). If I wanted to though, I admit, I Could wire up a pair of RCA Jacks to the ole Atari 2600 and get some extra bass for my bleeps and bloops.

- Yeah, and also mushes up any semblance of a stereo signal you had as the amp is mono, unless you use the RCA jacks, which still joins the sound at the 5" speaker the guitar and bass sounds come out of. It does however have excellent bass response due to the closed back cabinet (with the step down transformer bolted to the back plate rather cheaply).

- Shame it does not have shoulder straps to do so, but then I have a Roland Street Cube that's smaller and probably just as loud on several AA batteries.

Hoo Boy, here we go...

Hmm, apparently these people are color blind and don't know the difference between Tweed and black tolex. The look kind of mimics a Silverface Fender amp to a mild degree, while having sort of a lo-fi late 70's/early 80's vibe to it.
- 30 Watts of pure rock power
The lack of Distortion makes me curious though.
- Microphone Input for Singing Along
Or more properly, 1/4" Phono Jack with dedicated uncontrollable delay that is thankfully, tastefully applied.
- Electric Guitar Input for JAmming Along
Actually, this could be said of either 1/4" phono input on this thing. Though it sounds great solo.
- Line input for all Video Console Games
Or pretty much anything with the capability of plugging it in via RCA input Jacks. I ran my Zune through it on my Youtube video. Either way, it's an interesting booger to say the least.
