I saw him playing once, and his skills were really coming along.
Really is a shame.
No offence to anyone under 20, but that is part of what being a teenager is about, trying things out, and deciding (sometimes the hard way) whether or not something is for you.
When I was young and I wanted something expensive, my parents would say "it's just a phase you're going through. In two months you will put it down and never use it again." I didn't believe them at the time, but I see now that they were right at least some of the time 😀
