It's how I make my living, buy / sell / buy / sell / buy.

It started when I bought my first electric, an Aria Pro II, for 25$. I then sold it to Sam Ash for 60. Save save save save up, repeat process. Then I bought the Duo. Now, that is more or less my dream guitar, sure, it needs some Jazzmaster pickups ( 😆 ) but I loved it nonetheless. Unfortunately, I needed to pay the bills, so I sold it for 200, netting myself a cool 35$ profit. Now I have the Jagmaster, and if I can sell that sometime in the future for 240-250, it's gone, because I need the money, and I'm pretty good at finding great guitars for cheap.

You'll be happy with a 51. playing with it last night, there's a lot of tone options with the coil split. Even without a tone knobs it's a very versatile guitar. Well done squire.

Personally, I wouldn't mind a tone control on mine.

The humbucker (not stock) is well balanced, but can get pretty harsh at high volumes.

But that neck pickup is awesome. It sounds waaaaay more like a strat than my Affinity strat does!

yeyah use a razorbade if ur precise enough, thats what i did when i stuck this fat sticker on my bass, forgetting about the adhesive stuff lol

The adhesive remover was amazing, the stuff rubbed right off and the finish looks pristine. probably the same formula as goo-gone

that mod has been on my mind since the 1st time i saw the new duos, it would be an awesome project

i could hardly put it down (and hardly realized i had picked it up as they are sooo light)

everything felt right about it, and the finish isnt half bad in person. i want a new project and the Warmoth build i posted about a while back is a bit out of reach atm, so the options are duo with jag trem mod, or jagmaster with jag trem mod..hmm

Found this thread . I am a fan of 51s myself and own 2 of them . Such a f(u)cking awesome guitar and am surprised Fender never made their own version .

I put an Invader and a Vintage rail in my yellow 51 and changed out the pots and it's jst the best 130$ for a guitar I EVER spent . Here she is in the middle .
