GaryM Anyone familiar with these? Would they be a good platform to mod into something 'stang-ish? http://www.rondomusic.com/sst6234vwh.html
Blandest I heard thats they are iffy. You can get one and it could be great, or the complete opposite. It's a crap-shoot. I have heard moer promising than bad though. I've looked into then too, i want the jazzy knockoff.
Mustang-Pete Did someone not come on here with one of the Jazz copies? I think they'd refinished it or something...

GaryM Rondo has over a half dozen different Strat styled guitars with 24" scales. Anyone know if a standard MIA Strat pickguard will fit them?
Blandest It will fit, but not like a glove. You'll have to make it fit, o promises it'll look right either, because I dont know how alike, or different, the bodys are.
ModNuB I'm not sure the 24" will fit a standard strat pickguard. The bodies are smaller to fit the scale of the neck so they may use smaller guards. Not sure but I wouldn't bank on it. You could try to email rondo I hear they are great at answering questions.
Mustang-Pete Cymastar said: You could do a nice Klyridol-esque project with these though...Aye, that's a point actually. The 24" scale would make it even more Mustang like!
Cymastar Klyridol is a member who took a Hondo Strat-copy and turned it into a great Mustang lookalike.
GaryM Got a nice email from Kurt at Rondo yesterday. He says that a standard Strat pickguard will not fit these guitars. So much for putting a stock pearl or tortoise PG on these. You could order a custom PG from Warmoth.
