well, might be having some sales

ive had my mustang a little over a year, and while i have loved the guitar it isnt really meshing with me anymore, and with the direction my band is going there seem to be better options. my reason for posting is, how much do you guys think i should let it go for? shes routed for a bridge JB and has a few little nicks but nothing massive. i would be including a black hsc that i bought with it, and possibly the original bridge pup as well in case the buyer looks to un mod it. any opinions would be appreciated, thanks in advance

They're going on ebay bin for $900+ but I'm not sure what they are selling for.

You could always put it on ebay for that bin price & start the bidding at your lowest price. Just a thought.

What casino are you wanting? Original or reissue? I know epi is making 2 different models but I don't know about either. I had an original years ago but it was stolen ☹ I loved it & have thought about getting another but the price of a original is just too much for me ☹ :( ☹

i know i couldnt get 900 for it, its a bit beat and ive routed it. i actually found the casino that i want on craigslist for 600, and although i dont have the money i would be willing to just do a straight trade for it with the stang. the epi is a 1995 if that means anything to anyone. and i think they are actually making three or four versions. the standard, the elitist, the elitist john lennon, and the john lennon revolution style iirc

is it an elitist? at 600, it seems like it's not that cheap for a 10+years-old non-elitist, but great if it were one ...

a casino is definitely high up on my wish-list, too (both hollow AND single-coil!) i just don't know much about their quality (apart from reading the reviews at HC)

i think it is just a standard series, made in japan. the new ones are made in korea i believe, i dont know what that really says about the quality but ive played some of the new ones and they all felt very solid to me. the reason i was willing to go for the trade was because im really not sure if my mustang is even worth 600 at this point due to the mods.

If you can wait for the Fender price hike to totally kick in you could probably get what you originally paid for the Mustang. Might be worth considering putting it back to stock as well, but just mention it was professionally routed for a humbucker.

thats what i was thinking, they are already going for 930+ i believe, any increase will just help the cause

Harrison, I know of a Gibson Les Paul in the Antelope Valley that might want to do a swap for your Mustang. Or perhaps a blonde Washburn HB35 if you hanker for a 335 type. Both have cases. PM me if you want the info.
