He improvises mostly, so as long as u have the chords correct, its all good.

has anybody seen the peppers on snl when john inprovised the intro to piss off ant? tis brilliant for improv.

there's a video of them doing it on a dutch (or something) tv programme from '92 also, and he does it even sloppier and weirder.

if you watch stone cold bush (their first song on SNL) anthony kicks the crap out of john while he's rolling around on the floor and john's face smacks into his mic. i always figured john did the intro that way to retalliate until i saw the other tv show.
