what strings does eveyone use?????

D'Addario 10's. 9's on my strat right now, diggin' em. I've used nothing but those for the past few years. Although, I have a setof Exlixar's on my acoustic....greatness..

GHS Pure Nickel Wound 11's. Nickel wound wear out quickly, but they have the most natural tone to my ears. When I'm playing a lot I use Elixers Nanoweb 11s. I don't like their tone or even their feel, but one pair will last several months of gigging so it is economical in the long run.

Electric: d addario xl 10s w/ a wound G...I used to play 12s wound G but modding the nuts was getting annoying so I've switched to 10s

Acoustic: Ernie Ball 2154 Coated Slinky Medium Acoustic Guitar Strings. Think Elixrs with actual acoustic tone not plastic 🤮 tone. They don't have a "coating" like the elixrs do but they sound AMAZING and last FOREVER 😬😬😬 I play mostly acoustic and would go thru a set of strings every week or so but with these I've gone MONTHS without needing to change. I can't recommend them high enough seriously

I don't know why but my strings last forever literally. I think it's because my fingers don't sweat much and I don't change my tuning very often. I haven't changed the strings on my strat in 2 years and they are just now starting to lose their tone. The really weird thing is I've never broken a string (literally never).

Yea i like ernie ball...anybody have ideas on how to fix the bar where the strings go in on a jagstang, someone told me to bolt it down cant i turn it around so idont have to wrap the strings around? then screw those allen bolts for the wammy all the way down?I have a seymour duncan jb humbucker for it so i wanted to do that when i put the humbucker in

d'Addario .10's on my 25.5" scale guitars (A Tele and a 51), and d'Addario .11's on my Jagmaster.

My Strat still has the stock .09's and I hate them with a passion. But I never play the guitar anyway, so no biggie.

I use 10's, 11's. I dont like the feel or tone of anythin lighter. D'addario's are good for electric (although there is probably better). use martin sp for acoustic.

still trying different stuff out but i'm swingingmore toward slinkey 9's and 10's.

fender silver bullets are great i think, had a set of 10's on a jag for about a year and they just wouldnt break, put slinkey 11's on and the high e broke after about 2 weeks, replaced it with a d'addrio 10 and that broke after 2 weeks.

but i say slinkey 10's are gonna be my usual.

11's. i'm in between sets at the moment - right now i have d'addario 11's on all my electrics, but the botom string is weak, and i'm thinking that i'll try ernie ball 11-54's again. i remember loving everything but the g string, but i'll give 'em another shot. its just not ok to have a weak bottom string which is way too loose and offers little dynamics

ive got some, D'adario (spelling?) flatwound 11s on my mustang, and i really love the wound g i probably wont go back to a plain g again
