Cheap cheap les paul/SG?

I don't know why, but I have recently had this crazy itch to get a gibson 😕😕

Does anybody have one they can flog me or reccomend?

ive been having that same itch, i have my epi "les paul studio" which really isnt much of what it used to be. but the guitar before it was broken was incredible. i'd say if your going for the $300-400 price range and you want a gibby this would be the guitar i'd buy. and in fact i am considering buying it.

both have bolt on necks, but i dont think this really effects the playability. my little brother has the sg special and i really like the sound of it. and the LP specials ive played feel very good. one thing i can say about both it PICKGAURD PLEASE!!! but both seem to be stury guitars for the money

hey i take offense to the gibson snob comments! I own 4 gibsons and im not a snob about them! However i will admit...there are gibson snobs but even gibson owners hate them! There are Fender Purists also, owning a gibson isnt a bad thing they are solid guitars.

The used market is fantastic for Gibson's right now used, fades etc are going for low prices same for the R9's they sell new for 5k but are selling for as low as 2k on ebay currently, granted its still not cheap but 3k is a nice chunk of change to save if you had 2k. I'd check the used market for studios,faded,and vintage mahoganies, you might also be able to score a standard if your lucky or Les Paul Specials are good! Check around the market is great now for buyers!

oh sorry if i came off a lil to serious sounded i was joking I know you guys of all people wouldnt be elitists about things. Gibson has alot of elitists there all on the les paul forum...i mean seriously you can only get on by invitation...wtf is that about its a freaking forum for godsakes not a VIP club 😆

(PS I know from experience about the Gibson elitists, I have a friend who is always on my back because I play Fender and Squier guitars which don't cost $1200 a pop)
