but yes the dot studio is a great sounding guitar and is fairly priced atm too

I was gonna suggest the Dot, but I didn't because I thought they are too expensive to qualify as a "cheap" guitar.

You could buy a MIM strat for the same price.

But yeah, the Dot is the only suggestion I would have.

And I'm with you, Harrison, I WANT one of those things...

he didnt really give a price range unless im mistaken? but the dot studio is 299 new and can be found on the bay for a bit less. and rob as much as i want i dot i really envy all of you with jagmasters!that guitar has been eluding me for so long and i think before i went for the dot i"d have to get the jagm

He had the word cheap emphasised in italics, which made me think low. Down here a Dot Cherry is AUD$999. For just $200 more, you can buy a Jazzmaster!

Maybe what we consider 'cheap' to be is a bit different 😉

Why are you having trouble finding a Jagmaster? I know they aren't popping up on ebay very much, but I would think finding a new one would be simple enough. Even if they aren't on the rack, they can be ordered easy enough. Late last year I almost got a Squier Cyclone brand new because it was in the warehouse and I decided to enquire.

But then again, sometimes things are elusive for no reason at all. The trouble I had to go to to get a couple of my guitars home (including the Jagmaster) has been ridiculous. Sometimes stuff is just beyond control ☹

i"d love to find an es 335 style for cheap too. 😆

as for the jagmaster. i have just talked myself into and out of geting it since i first saw one. and the reasons for it are always more concrete. everytime i play one i love it. but i just cant seem to bite the bullet and finally get one for myself. but this time ive made up my mind, and the jagm is the next up for me

999 FOR AN EPIPHONE!!!!!!!!!! I feel sorry for you guys down under, I heard Jay Turser was very good for the price, Dot is the next best thing, the Epiphone Joe Pass Emperor II is really for $600 but you can find them used for a good price. I'd go with the Turser or Dot though if i was going to stay cheap and good.

Check out Kay guitars my local guitar store has some Kay 335 knockoffs and they're pretty nice. I think the price is $350ish, but I'm not positive.
