robbierob I was wondering if anybody knows if anyone else has an authentic Jagstang bridge pickup in an Explorer guitar. I made a bet with my dad I was the only one but I thought I would do some research first haha. Thanks in advance 😀

robbierob ohhh gotcha. I thought like certain guitars EXPLODE when you put jagstang pickups in them haha. well i happen to like the sound, so there 😀 and quite frankly, anything is better than the ones I have.
robbierob So i was looking through the Jag-Stang section of the forum and it sounds like the only reason people have a problem with the humbucker is because its angled. But Explorers pickups are alligned, so will it eliminate that problem if there was one in the first place? maybe clarify the sound a little?
tragictravisty no, that arguement holds little weight. if anything the difference in sound between the two coils would reduce phase cancellations
