my grandpa and i were at GC and i was playing a lot of hollows to see what i would save up for, tried the ibanez artcore, and the dot studio because they didnt have any standard dots. and then i found mine over near the checkout counter and plugged it in and as much as i fell in love with it so did my gramps and he agreed to advance me and let me pay him off over the next few (maaaannny) weeks. with insurance and HSC it was around 600,

(actually, blonde & black pickguard reminds me of my jazzbox, i've got to love it!)

yeah i'm pretty sure they are just standard epi's and i am very pleased with the sound. and apparently so is my family because i am getting constant compliments from how good the guitar sounds. they are very biting and get very warm when you roll the tone off a bit, i am pleased

thanks for the offer but it wouldnt have worked that way, my grandpa is of the "i want to hold it in my hands before i consider buying it" mindset 😆
