well i like the pickguard better on mad-mike's interpretation.
but forreal though the big thing in big name brands these days is hybrid guitars and Gibson isnt using their heads if they want to make a cool hybrid. how about an explorer/sg hybrid and call it the XG? maybe its just me but it sounds sweet.

I also think burns bison horns on a jack white style airline would look pretty cool. but thats a whole other story.
