first album was strats, second and third album ibanezes, 4th album gibsons (i guess they released it in two parts, but whatever).

they've bothered me since toxicity. i just read a lot of guitar magazines. first album was alright in places, i remember being really suprised that he used standard strats though.

Standard strats? That does suprise me, they struck me as more of a humbuckers all the way kinda band. Wierd. Supose the right effects can adapt anything to do anything if you know how to tweek it.

i remember seeing him with humbuckered strats like the big apple HH one but in the accompanying interview he said he used a standard mexican strat and there's pictures of him playing those.
