yeah, i've always been confused with that Iron Man video as all the time u see Tony with Laneys thats one of the few where i saw Oranges still cool and trippy 😆

But Orange was there with Peter Green when Fleetwood Mac was really good and not the pop band they are now.

Yeah the AD140 is the amp your looking for, sadly they no longer make it for some reason the closest thing is the AD30. I got some orange news so check out backstage

I don't like vox.

In fact,I'll do the same thing as mad-mike:

Bugera = Don't need the power and unreliable

Mesa = 2nd fav - really nice tone with high gain

Marshall = Tone sucks IMO. Rather crunchy, not enough gain

Orange = Waaay too crunchy. Sounds like a one man band on crack

Peavey = Unreliable and tone is hit and miss - EVH 5150 too expensive

Gorilla = Interesting story here....will post. Sounds like ####

Vox = Too boxy sounding - crunchy and not enough gain

Ampeg = No Distortion without a pedal + Rare tubes

Fender = No distortion channel, would need a pedal...

Crate = Again, hit and miss. Heard bad things

Randall = I don't like these.....something about them.....

Bogner = My fav- loads of smooth, creamy distortion with amazing harmonics and power

Epiphone = Crappy speakers and not enough watts

ENGL = bit too crunchy

Blackstar = Not enough gain

Laney = pretty cool. had good experiences with these amps, but not heavy enough

Its true I played an AD30 it was a little to harsh and treblely for me definitely not the smooth Orange distortion that you find in amps such as the Rocker series and thunderverbs. However some people love the tone I'm not that big of a fan, when it comes to Orange i love the smooth-ness of there overall tone.
