Grunge Pedal

Is there anyone out there who owns and/or can recomend the purchase of a Digitech Grunge pedal???? I've heard various reports on them but not met anyone who has one.

I currently own a Boss Heavy Metal pedal but need a box that will give me more of a biting, raspy sound. Kinda after the mudhoney/dinosaur jr sound.

I know a big muff is an option too. 😕

Get the Big Muff. It's a fantastic pedal.

ive hewrd alot of positive things about them, and my digitech bad monkey certainly shows me that digitech are good, i say go for it

i think its probably more versatile than the big muff seeing as it has more knobs but i havent owned either of them ☹

I don't like boss/roland distortion at all

The grunge pedal is sort of a really hot thing but has no chug to it. Get a big muff. Not much more expensive and sounds great. Another goodun is the behringer super fuzz 😎

grunge pedal = #### pedal waste of any money u pay for it, even if its free its a waste of your effort to pick up that lump of crap pedal. Do not buy it!!

Yeah well i may have a grunge on the way but its for zilch so its not a problem if i don't get on with it. the berhinger has got me thinkin though.

yeah, Behringer Super Fuzz. Its quite like the Boss HM-2 though. The Digitech Grunge is okay but you cant beat the RAT and Big Muff for thick tones.

RATs suck imo.

It sounds like a big muff except you have the volume turned down on the guitar. Just sucks tone

Well im no fan either but if your into that kind of thing they are good. Personally i like clear pedals like Tubescreamers and Guvnors, i only use my Big Muff as a low end/volume boost.
