What makes the neck of the mustang so good?

Many guitarists that played my mustang commented that is very comfortable for them, why is that?

I myself cannot judge cause this is the only electric I own.

My MIJ mustang neck is almost exactly the same as my MIJ Jaguar neck...and they are pretty comfortable as far as the shape of the neck goes. But I've never gotten used to how short they are.

I completely prefer the feel of a short scale, A or B width neck.

By width, do you mean across the fretboard? And girth, that's front to back?

I'm thinking about putting a Mustang-style neck on a telecaster style body and these kinds of descriptions are helpful. Is C girth an official description? Is that what they mean in the guitar magazines when they say the neck is C-Shaped?

A being the "girth", or the back profile shape. there are various letters to describe different shapes. C, D, V and U. i believe C is the most common.

B being the width (at the nut). and C being the radius (curve) of the fretboard:

I just simply told them that I wasn't looking to sell anytime soon. I wouldn't sell it for the world.

Nah, I'd say the thin-U is aptly named...a C-shape is usually more flat...in those diagrams, at least. The thin-U in the picture does looks like a C.
