hello everybody and help with whammy bar

Hi! My name is el manzo.

Yesterday I bought a '65 mustang reissue made in japan. It's coming from an old stock, the guitar seems to be made around '94 - '95. Daphne blue. Brand new with warranty certificate.

I think it's a fantastic guitar but since the only guitar I ever owned it's a 'ultra heavy' seventies telecaster custom 72, I'm a bit confused about the whammy bar: once I fixed it with the allen wrench can I move it around or is it supposed to stay in that position? I noticed that the screw cut some grooves on the bar itself.

Another thing: the tremolo bar look genuine but I noticed that the plastic tip is black, not white as the one I saw in many pictures around the net.

I dunno. Probably an aftermarket arm. And just get a screw in trem arm and thread out the hole

The most recent re-issue ('65) have only been in production since 2004 (according to GC). These are the poplar body models with the space between the pickguard and the control plate). They only come with the black tipped bar since late 2008.
