well. vintage mustangs and duos yes, because originally both came with a 24" neck or 22 something necks, the duo sonic 2 is effectively just a hardtail mustang so yes the necks there would be compatable. as far as 90's duo reissues and the new duo's i am not sure, if the 90's ones have the same scale as the vintage ones then theoretically they should fit. but i do not know if the new duos are true 24"s or conversion necks. hopefully that makes some sense, but someone has to know more than me ha

conversion necks were created to acehieve a 24" scale on a guitar body meant for a 25.5"

the newest jagmasters are conversion necks, the bodys are set up to be 25.5's and could take a strat neck with no issues IIRC, but they have conversion necks making them 24" short scale's. it has do do with some crazy mathematical fretting formula or a something of that sort. but to be honest i know what a conversion neck DOES but am not 100% on HOW it does it.
