Robbmonster Looks like poplar.Email the seller and ask WHY they have sanded down a vintage guitar body. The route's don't look right to me, not quite angled enough.Proceed with caution. I would be staying away.

minho422 mcconnachiea said: Nope. Forget vintage dude, that looks like #### And where's the date stamp?stamp? I didn't even know that mustang bodies had stamps...Harrison// yeah the relic color looks great. but is that mahogany or poplar? it says poplar, but the wood looks mahogany... anyway, I think I'll buy that one
jacksonjackass A stamp in the neck pocket. There should be a date. But srsly just get a new one and get someone else to paint it
harrison mcconnachiea said: Nope. Forget vintage dude, that looks like #### And where's the date stamp?i'm guessing it is alder, most solid color mustangs were made with it. if it was a sunburst then maybe it'd be ash. but aside from a few cases i've never known mustangs to be widely made of mahogany
enjoysleeping that first one says its poplar, not alder... and i dont know what about it looks fake, the routes look fine and the shielding looks dead on
