shadoogie Hi, has anyone experimented with different value capacitor on the Mid Tone Cut Switch? I have a Jap 62 Reissue Jag and when I bring this swithch into play it is just too trebly and there is also a reduction in Volume. The sound is horrible. Thanks...Jimbo
GeorgeF I've not heard of anyone changing the cap value to anything worthwhile but you could mod the switch to do something else like make both pickups go in series like a giant humbucker etcSomeone around here has a diagram I think...
Earth Stock value is 3.3nF but if you want less cut try 5nF and up to about 8nF or if you want more cut try 1nF.3.3nF = .003uF
