Hi, can anyone help me please, its been refinished, which is cool, but I would like to return the pickups to stock,any ideas on what would be a good buy, I am thinking finding original 65 pick ups is going to be unlikely, so looking for something as classic as possible.

even though its not as original and has had a refinish its a nice guitar. 44 years old or so

Just duncan strat vintage and then get no holes covers

Any 'vintage style' single coil will do the job. And you should be able to find vintage mustang pickups if you look around

I will try and post pics when I can get my camera working, this guitar is going to be a work in progress, I might sell when Ive done it. but its a fun thing to own.

I have a toronado that I love that I have to sell now to help pay for it.But I think its worth it

If you have the cash then lindy fralin make mustang pickups. Guitarparts.com sell them as do guitarpartsresource.com.

You can buy them from seymour duncan in the antiquity range of pickups as well.
