pots and orange drop

im rebuilding a 97-98 jagstang and i bought 2 fender 500k pots, and was wondering if i should go ahead and get orange drops? if so, do i get 2 for both pots or just 1 for the volume pot? and also which kind, i remember someone sayin to get a 0.01

or, should i get 2 250K pots and get orange drops, or just the one orange drop? cuz im pretty sure im gettin a seymour duncan jb in the bridge, and i dont know if it would be better to get both the pup and orange drops with 500k pots or 250 k pots or wat?

250 k pots are fine, thats what came stock

And also, the original cap was a green .47 uf 😉

No sorry dude, I'm gonna be restoring my jagstang and selling it when I've done my project.

Just take a crap in the humbucker cavity and it gives you the same sound 😛

I'd use 500k personally considering the humbucker and a .022 orange drop only on the tone pot (you dont fit them on the volume).

Traditionally speaking, humbuckers use 500k pots and .022 caps. The stock JS is a bit of a mish mash with some bad ideas electronically. Thats why it sounds so 'wooly' and dull.
