What I'd really like to see from fender is a sort of DIY custom shop where you can just choose colour, bridge, controls, neck specs, pickups and pickup arrangement. This would eliminate the millions of different mutations of strat there are.
My fave strat would be red, white pickguard, volume and tone, floyd rose, EMG 81/85, black hardware rosewood fretboard with matching head 😎
They need to set up a custom shop like that
