dimarzio humbucker from hell, because its got as much treble and sparkle as a strat pup, and almost as much lower mids and bass as a paf, with no nasty upper mids. i use it for sparkling cleans as well as warmer cleans, and bluesy type dirty tones, with a ####load of bass (then again, i'm playing through a bassman 10 w/bass at 10...) i also split it for warm tones w/less bass. also, when you split it, the frequency peak is high enough that the treble is all sparkle, and no sharpness. you actually hear a decrease in treble, but if you bring up the treble on the amp, its the sweetest you ever heard...
second favorite is a p-90 for distorted blues tones, followed by a paf for the same. (i hate bridge pafs not neck ones)
